Officially from July 1, 2026, the list of textile products falling under the MOIT's quality management scope is defined by Circular 33/2026/TT-BCT. Products on this list must comply with QCVN 01:2017/BCT and Amendment 01:2026 before entering the Vietnamese market.
Technical requirements primarily focus on controlling formaldehyde limits and aromatic amines derived from azo dyes. Manufacturers, importers, and distributors must simultaneously cross-reference the product name, description, and HS code to accurately determine their obligations for testing, assessment, and declaration of conformity.
