Charity Program “Joining Hands - Spreading Love 2024”
In October 2024, as Northern Vietnam still bore the heavy scars of Typhoon Yagi, the Vinacontrol Group Union embarked on a special mission: "Joining Hands - Spreading Love". Our journey led us to the highlands of Bao Yen and Si Ma Cai districts in Lao Cai Province - where children’s smiles needed a beacon of hope following the natural disaster.
A meaningful journey to the school branches
Beyond providing essential gifts to encourage the spirit of learning, the program directly supported schools in reconstructing damaged infrastructure. At Vinacontrol, we believe that a sturdy and warm school is the vital foundation for every child to pursue their dreams in safety.
From October 17th to 18th, 2024, our volunteer delegation navigated rugged mountain passes to reach:
- Bao Yen District: Viet Hai and Gia Ha school sites (Viet Tien Kindergarten).
- Si Ma Cai District: Kindergarten No. 1 and Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities No. 1 (Lung Than Commune).
Presenting gifts to the school and students, and inaugurating the newly completed freshwater well
A greener campus, a brighter future for highland children
The school site: Before and after the installation of heat-insulating plastic ceilings
At each destination, the gifts delivered were more than just material aid; they carried the collective warmth and generosity of Vinacontrol’s staff and our esteemed partners.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the sponsors, individuals, and organizations both within and outside Vinacontrol Group. Your dedicated contributions have brought warmth and hope to underprivileged children, strengthening their faith to return to school and continue building their futures.
